The 52° North walk starts at Bawdsey on the Suffolk coast at sunrise on Tuesday 25 June 2019 (the fifth anniversary of Heather’s death). So Day 0 of Stage 1 (Mon 24 Jun) will be spent travelling by train from Wokingham to Suffolk, ready to start the walk the next day.
I’m catching the train to Wokingham to Woodbridge (changing at Waterloo, Bank, Liverpool Street and Ipswich). Then I’m meeting Graham Bryant from Woodbridge Cruising Club at 15:15 at fuel berth at the Tidemill marina who’s going to run me down the River Deben to Felixstowe Ferry on the coast.
